Arne Jacobsen is a Danish architect and designer.

His work is among the most important of the Danish functionalist movement which like Le Corbusier and Walter Gropius advocated rational and functional architecture.

The Egg has become a design legend and is a timeless and mythical chair.

Created in 1958, the Egg Chair was originally designed to furnish the lobby and reception area of the Royal Hotel in Copenhagen.
