Pair of ARE armchairs by Gosta Göperts

Pair of armchairs by Gosta Göperts, model ARE, designed by Göte Göperts for his own firm Botema AB in 1963. White sheepskin seat and back mounted on a pine structure.
Mr Göperts is also the man behind another firm called Göperts Möbler who was the predecessor of Botema AB but made more traditional furniture.  A fun fact is that Göte Göperts was originally named Göte Persson but changed his last name to Göperts which is a mix between the two names. He just took the first few letters of each name Gö-te Per-sson and came up with the name Göperts. The chair is in a very good vintage condition with light ware consistent with age and use including a few marks and scratches on the legs.
